Hi, I’m Adam Roadknight, a lifelong learner and passionate
advocate for personal development based in London.
In this blog I share the lessons I’ve learned as I’ve sought
to overcome the ups and downs of life. Like many, I didn’t start out with a
clear roadmap. I’ve bumbled my way through challenges, setbacks, and moments of
doubt. But over time, I’ve discovered that the key to getting on is being
deliberate about it. For me, personal development is a way of life that’s
helped me get ahead in my career, and I believe it’s something anyone can
embrace, though too few of us actually do. But you? If you’re reading this, you
might already be a convert. And if not, I hope I can help you become one.
I write the kind of content I wish I’d found earlier in my
journey. There’s a lot of noise about the upheaval we’ll all face in the brave
new world of AI, and I hope my posts can help you and empower others to be a
little more intentional about their life journey.
But this blog isn’t just about what I’ve learned. I hope it
can be a platform for you to share with me and others, to build on the
discussions I’m starting. We all learn from the exchange of ideas.
Outside of writing and my passion for personal growth, life
is full and fulfilling. I’m a practicing Christian, deeply grateful for my
faith and the grounding it gives me. I cherish my wife, whose support and love
are central to everything I do. I genuinely love my job, which challenges and
energizes me daily. When I’m not working or writing, you’ll likely find me out
cycling or diving into yet another podcast. There’s always something new to
learn or reflect on.
I’d love to hear from you, whether you have a question, a
story to share, or just want to say hello. Feel free to leave a comment or
reach out via email: adamroadknight@outlook.com
A quick note on language:
While I’m a proud Brit through and through, you might notice I’ve chosen to
write in American English. Why? Simply because most readers online are more
familiar with it. But don’t let the spelling fool you – I still queue, not line
up, and I eat biscuits, not cookies.
